Our second graders will be taking their first round of MAP tests. Our dates are Thursday, September 13th for Math and Thursday, Septemberr 20th for Reading. Please be sure your child is well rested and has a good breakfast on the days we have MAP testing. If you would like to help your child prepare for the MAP tests, below are two websites (one for reading and one for math) that are helpful. Because your child does not have a RIT score yet, choose activities in the 180's or 190's to start. If it is too hard or too easy you can guide your child up or down from there. Please remember not to put any pressure on your child for these tests. This first testing session is a baseline. Results will be given to you at conferences.
