From the Glendale PTC-May Updates

 

 

On behalf of PTC, we would like to thank all of the volunteers that have helped make Glendale the community school it is known for once again this year.  We couldn't have successfully pulled off the number of fun family events, Teacher Appreciation week, etc. without you so THANK YOU for taking time out of your busy schedules to help make wonderful memories for our children.  We wish you a safe summer and look forward to working together next year.

MAY '13 opportunities to share your Glendale spirit:

• Mr. Richardson is looking for 1 line quotes regarding your Glendale experience to share with the district communication office as the district is revising the Glendale website.  If you have something you'd like to share please e-mail Mr. Richardson at: srichardson@priorlake-savage.k12.mn.us.  

• End of the Year Party will be Friday, May 31st from 6:15-8:00pm.  Volunteers are needed to help sell snacks and raffle tickets.  If you are available please visit the attached Sign Up Genius Link: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C084AAAAF28AA8-endofthe  Bring the whole family to celebrate the end of a great school year!  Enjoy games outside and snacks for purchase in the multi-purpose room.  Back by popular demand: The dunk tank! 2nd Grade Gets the Beat

 

Mrs. Collins (Parent of a Glendale Kindergartner and 2nd Grader) came to school on Wednesday and shared her love of percussion instruments with second grade classes and her daughter's kindergarten class. She shared drums from a variety of countries and led a jam session with students. It was fun and very informative. Check out Connor, Jacob, and Clara, in her jam session!
